The youth of WITNESS Project are getting ready to launch their next program and we need your help!

Have you ever gotten rude remarks from boys or men as you walk to school or work? Have you ever seen a girl or woman become scared or uncomfotable when boys or men comment on thier looks or how much they want to date them or sleep with them? Are you tired of this behavior and want to do something to stop it? Then join us as we kick off our new project against STREET HARASSMENT!

We will be creating oversized posters (see example below) featuring photos of boys/men and girls/women that call for an end to street harassment in Guyana. To accomplish this we need young women and young men between the ages of 11 – 25, of various ethnicities/religious backgrounds, willing to have their picture taken and be featured on posters which will be posted in schools and in public areas around Georgetown.

The photoshoot will be held in EARLY JANUARY 2015. Please check this site in the next 2 weeks for the exact date.

In order to participate in the photoshoot you will need a signed model release form. (Volunters under the age of 18 MUST have their parent or guardian’s signature).  CLICK HERE to access the release form. Please print, sign and bring it with you to the photoshoot.
