MARGARET CLEMONS: President and Founder of The Margaret Clemons Foundation (MCF). Margaret founded MCF as a vehicle for the creation of model programs to change the behavior of communities, by addressing inequities and power imbalances that set the stage for violence. Margaret is a licensed Private Investigator specializing in problem solving strategies. She lived in Colombia South America for many years and is both bi-lingual and bi-cultural.
ALYSIA CHRISTIANI: Creative Services Manager at New York Road Runners and Creative Director of Christiani Creative – formerly Project Manager at Sesame Workshop. As Project Manager for the WITNESS Project, she is responsible for managing social media and coordinating all WITNESS Project programs. Alysia is also American born Guyanese.
ROSHENI TAKECHANDRA: Program Director in Guyana for WITNESS Project. Rosheni works at the grassroots level mobilizing, teaching, and nurturing the WITNESS Project youths. She fosters collaboration among various partners and supporters, and assists with the implementation of projects in Guyana.
RAINY DAY WORZELLA: Artist, Graphic Designer, Web Designer, and Principal of Rainy Day Studio. Past Founder and Creator of Art Village, a fine arts center, and gallery which offered studio space, professional art equipment, and classes. As Creative Director for WITNESS Project Rainy is responsible for our website, and print collateral. She also photographs and documents WITNESS Project programs.
NANCY W STEVENSON: Art Director/Character Design at Sesame Workshop. Formerly Assistant Art Director for the Jim Henson Company, Proprietor of First Arts – a full service design studio, and she has Illustrated over 40 children’s books. Nancy is a Creative Consultant for WITNESS Project and also facilitates our work with French artist JR’s TED Prize global art project, Inside Out.
MORGAN RILES: Editor and Filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Morgan has edited for Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), College Humor, Art21 on PBS, and others. A graduate of Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College with a Film BFA. Her feature documentary, “BIOMODD [ATH1]: A Living Game Computer As Social Sculpture” follows the work of Belgian artist and TED fellow Angelo Vermeulen, and was screened at the 27th International Festival of Films on Art, and the Houston Cinema Arts Festival, in 2009. She is currently cutting “Artist to Artist”, a new web series for Art21.
GINGER THEISEN: Filmmaker and Producer. Ginger started her career in the film industry at George Lucas’s prestigious visual effects company, Industrial, Light and Magic in Northern California. She was with the company for fifteen years, working with many of Hollywood’s top directors on films such as Jurassic Park, Hidalgo, Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Mission Impossibl, The Other Guys, and most recently Tower Heist. Three films she worked on as the Visual Effects Producer received Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects: Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace directed by George Lucas, The Perfect Storm directed by Wolfgang Peterson and A.I. Artificial Intelligence directed by Steven Spielberg. She is currently in development on CRAZY HORSE, THE CRAZY HORSE RIDE and TALISMAN. Ginger is president of Platte River Pictures, LLC and a PGA member.
JAIME BEAUCHAMP: New Media Artist and Producer. Jaime’s experience includes 20 years at BusinessWeek in a wide range of positions such as Online Senior Video Producer, magazine cover Illustrator, and Co-Creator/Producer of many of BusinessWeek’s award-winning Weekly Podcasts. He currently works as Lead Website Designer and Developer for Velocity Connect.
